On Sunday the 6th May we welcomed our eleven candidates to church for their confirmation.
The service was held in St Johns Church in Ashe Street.
We were blessed with a beautiful day and a wonderful service which was led by our Bishop.
The service was all the more personal for the children as all of them contributed in some way to the liturgy.
As a parish we are thankful to have two organists and on this occassion Noreen led the music from the organ stool. We are fortunate to have a good number of singers in the choir and they are ably led by Shirley.
Elton and Sam played the drums and sang during communion.
It was a happy and memorably day for all involved.
