Ecumenical Service St Columba Kilflynn.

This annual service will be held in the grounds of Kilflynn Church on Monday the 13th July at 7pm as we remember with thanksgiving those who have been buried there through the ages.

It is an important community occasion and it’s followed by tea and refreshments in the church. The Church is leased to the Kilflynn Area development group and they keep the church and grounds in such good repair and for this we are very thankful.

Ballyseedy Graveyard Service of Remembrance

A service will be held on Saturday 8th August at 7.30pm in Ballyseedy.  This is an opportunity for all those who have loved ones buried there to come together in remembrance and thanksgiving.

St John’s Cemetery, Oakview

There will be mass in the graveyard or in St Brendan’s Church (depending of weather) on Wednesday 22nd July at 7.30pm to remember all those buried in the cemetery.

Eoin Duignan Concerts in St James Dingle

These concerts run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights in St James Church Dingle beginning at 7pm

Events in St John’s

Anam Arts Festival

We are delighted to be involved with this year’s Anam Arts & Literature festival which takes place in Tralee from July 3rd to 5th.  On Sunday July 5th at 7.30pm St John’s will host acclaimed singer, Pauline Scanlon and the Half Room for what promises to be a wonderful evening for folk song and harmony celebrating storytelling, tradition and the power of the human voice.  The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available on Eventbrite at €25.  https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/1991201865381?aff=oddtdtcreator

Tralee Light Opera Society

This very talented local group will hold a concert in St John’s on Friday July 17th at 7pm.

Dana Rosemary Scallon

A very special event to look forward to!

On Saturday October 10th we will have the pleasure of welcoming Dana to St John’s when she performs a concert.  It is a great honour for the parish to have someone of Dana’s talent and fame come to give a performance in St John’s and it promises to be a truly memorable event and one not to miss.  Further details of the concert will follow in due course.

In darkness and in light,

in trouble and in joy,

help us to trust your love,

to serve your purpose
