Sunday 11th April

St. John's Church Ashe Street Tralee

Christ is risen!
The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia!

Good Evening Everyone,

I have attached the service for Easter that was put together by the Rev Kevin O'Brien of Ennis.

Sympathy
We pray for all who have been recently bereaved,

Susie and Simon Keating and the extended Keating and Barry family on the death of Simons first cousin Mary Barry on Good Friday.

Noelle West and her family on the death of her aunt Sr De Sales Horgan.

Vera Shaw and family on the death of Rev Alan Shaw in Kenmare.

Prayer for those who are bereaved.

Heavenly father grant to all who are bereaved, the spirit of faith and courage,

that they may have strength to meet the days to come with steadfastness and patience.

Be with them through these times of loneliness and loss

and help them to draw strength from the treasured memories,

 that they shared with their loved one. Amen

Prayer for families

God of compassion,
whose Son Jesus Christ, the child of Mary,
shared the life of a home in Nazareth,
and on the cross drew the whole human family to himself:
strengthen us in our daily living
that in joy and in sorrow
we may know the power of your presence
to bind together and to heal;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

For those who are unwell.

Lord God, whose Son, Jesus Christ,

understood people's fear and pain
before they spoke of them,
we pray for those are unwell;
surround the anxious with your tenderness;
give strength to those in pain;
hold the weak in your arms of love,
and give hope and patience
to those who are recovering;
we ask this through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord.Amen
