The Gates
The gates from the Ashe Street entrance are impressive. They are over 5 tons in weight having to have runners to facilitate easy opening and closing. Built in Scotland the gates were at the main entrance to the ancestral home of the Talbot-Crosbie family until 1954. That year the gates were offered to Saint John’s church in Tralee. The motif of the Talbot-Crosbie family adorns the centre of each gate.
